Call of Duty ‘Ghosts’ [Trailer]


Following a series of accidental leaks, the first official trailer for the next title in the Call of Duty franchise has hit the web. Titled Call of Duty: Ghosts, the latest installment features an entirely new engine, developed specifically with the next-generation consoles in mind. The game is expected to be released on November 5 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC with a release for the next-generation consoles not long after.

Virtuix’s 360-degree Treadmill


A company called Virtuix, developed the Omni, an omnidirectional treadmill controller for virtual environments. The company has shown off support for games including Crysis Warhead, Team Fortress 2, and Skyrim in a series of YouTube videos, but we’re told that the device will work with all PC games when it’s released. Virtuix is aiming to launch a Kickstarter campaign for the Omni around the end of May or the beginning of June, and it’s targeting a price of $400-600 for the device.

Bungie’s Latest: Destiny [Trailer]


Bungie, the video game developer behind the Halo franchise, has officially unveiled its latest and most ambitious project, Destiny. Though Bungie refuses to call the game an MMO (massively multiplayer online) game, expect plenty of social gameplay elements and with Bungie planning the game out at least a decade forward, expect a level of longevity not usually seen in this genre.

Grand Theft Auto V, Trailer #2


The second official trailer for the forthcoming title from Rockstar Games finds Grand Theft Auto V showcasing all of the various cinematic and story-driven features we loved about the previous installments. Playing more like a popcorn thrill ride than simply a video game, the trailer also shows off real world rides like the Audi R8 Spyder, Aston Martin DB5, BMW M3 Convertible, Volvo S80 and more. Set in the fictional city of Los Santos, California, Grand Theft Auto V is available for pre-order now and will hit retailers in Spring 2013.
