Jaguar F-TYPE + Ridley Scott present Desire [Short Film]


To promote the new 2014 F-Type roadster, Jaguar has shot a new short film titled Desire, starring Golden Globe winner Damian Lewis (Brody from Homeland), Shannyn Sossamon and Jordi Mollà. The clip is set in the desert and takes Lewis on a mission to save a desperate wife, trying to get away from her violent ex-husband. Desire also uses music from Lana Del Rey for the end credits. A Ridley Scott Associates film.

Looking to break free of the limitations of their design–and carry out total elimination of their creators–the machines use some particularly nasty “motivation protocol” to extract key information from their prisoner.

In making their short film Forever Still, the members of Beach House spent a night traveling to a bunch of different breathtaking locations in Texas to perform four different songs from their 2012 album Bloom. The 27-minute mini-movie looks absolutely gorgeous, with the band convincingly showing just how larger-than-life these songs are.

Paperman – A Disney Short Film Merging CGI and Hand Drawn Animation


Disney is back with an advanced animation technique that merges the worlds of computer-generated images with those that are hand-drawn. The short film is directed by John Kahrs and features a lonely young man in mid-century New York City who has a chance meeting with a beautiful woman on his morning commute. She quickly disappears but he is given a second chance during his dreary workday.

“COWARD” is a 28 minute film set during World War 1 that brings to light some of the brutal treatment soldiers received for suffering what would now be known as shell-shock. It follows two cousins, Andrew and James, from their home in Northern Ireland who join the British Army to fight for their Country and make their families proud. Through their eyes we see the reality of life on the front lines.
