Nike Presents “Genealogy of Innovation” Commercial


A new commercial from Nike sees the sportswear and lifestyle brand track its footwear history over the last 43 years. Entitled “Genealogy of Innovation”, the spot looks at seven key game-changing eras – Genesis, Reformation, Golden Years, Enlightenment, Renaissance, Transformation, and Revolution – showcasing the most important shoes from each. The advert was directed and produced by Shoreditch-based studio Golden Wolf.

BLACK COMME des GARCONS x Nike Blazer High Premium


Japanese streetwear label, BLACK COMME des GARCON got the chance to give their take on the popular Nike Blazer High silhouette. CDG decided to deck the entire classic model out with black premium suede on the upper with black outsole, midsoles, and laces. To finish the custom look, the shoes are branded with the letters “CDG” on the upper heel.

Nike Unveils TRON like LED Digital Basketball Court for Kobe Bryant China Tour 2014

Nike & Kobe Bryant came together for his ninth tour and maybe last as a profession basketball player. During the tour’s Shanghai leg, the Laker welcomed guests to the House of Mamba with the world’s first full-sized LED basketball court. Laminated with LED display panels, the court visualize each player’s location on the court with motion-tracking arm band, just like the Game Grid straight out of TRON.

Air Jordan 3 ‘Wolf Grey’

Nike Air Odyssey


Nike will be releasing the Air Odyssey from ’87. Although the original introduction was greeted with mixed reviews, the shoe definitely has a place in Nike’s lineup with its stabilizing features for runners and retro aesthetic. Constructed of suede and mesh, the upper is in a predominantly black and grey with subtle white piping. The midsole features different gradients of grey to white, which is then finished with a sleek black outsole. This colorway of the Nike Air Odyssey can now be purchased at select stockists such as Titolo.
