Kevin Durant Signs New Deal With NIKE for 300M

At the 11th hour, Nike decided they could not loose one of their biggest superstars by making an offer that could be worth more than $300 million to Kevin Durant. Earlier this month, Under Armour pulled out their war chest offering a deal in the $265-$285 million range along with stock options to Durant. But with Nike’s option to match any offer on the table, a deal was struck earlier Sunday that would keepKevin Durant with Nike for the next 10 years. If all goes well, the final sneaker of this mega deal will be the Nike KD 17 due the Summer of 2024.

A new favorite to land the Minnesota Timberwolves superstar seems to emerge on a daily basis, only to fall back to the crowded pack of suitors once more details and context materialize. NBA Starts Process To End Donald Sterling’s Ownership

The NBA has officially charged Donald Sterling and set a date for the fateful vote meant to force his sale of the Clippers. The charges begin the process of ousting Sterling as the owner of the team. His hearing is planned for June 3. Sterling, who was banned for life from the NBA, has until May 27 to respond to the charge and the right to appear at the hearing and make a presentation in front of the board of governors.
