Despite being only 17 years old, Dylan Kwasniewski is already a force to be reckoned with in the NASCAR world. Named one of NASCAR’s Next 9 for the past two years, Dylan currently pilots the No. 03 Rockstar Energy/Royal Purple Ford for Gene Price Motorsports in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West.

Dylan jumped into the seat of his first kart in Norwalk, Conn. at the age of 4 ½. He quickly grabbed his first win and was hooked on racing. Relocating to Phoenix, Ariz. in 2000, Dylan continued to hone his driving skills in the Phoenix Kart Racing Association driving Kid Karts and capturing the track Championship in 2002. Moving into the competitive Cadet Junior 1 class when he turned 8 in 2003, Kwasniewski continued to dominate the local races, finishing 3rd at the end of his rookie season. Kwasniewski continued his kart racing, competing in IKF, STARS and SKUSA, where he captured the coveted title of SKUSA SuperNats Champion in 2005.

In 2007, Kwasniewski started circle track racing in the INEX Bandolero Bandit Division. Competing at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s Bullring track, he won 88% of the Bandolero races he entered, taking home 3rd place track & National Championship trophies at the end of his rookie year.

Moving into the bigger, faster, ultra competitive Legend car in 2008, Kwasniewski captured an impressive 10 wins and finished in the Top-3 in more than 60% of races entered.

Kwasniewski began racing in the ASA Speed Truck Series in 2009. In 2010, the young driver started racing a limited late model car as well as the Lucas Oil /Rockstar Modified Series before making the transition to NASCAR.

Winning two races and two poles in 2011, Dylan captured the Sunoco Rookie of the Year title in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. He also became the youngest driver to win a race and a pole with his sweep at Colorado at just 16 years old.

2012 has started with a bang. Just six races in, Dylan has two wins and one pole, finishing in the top-10 in all six races. He currently leads the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West championship point standings.

Royal Purple’s first ‘Outperformer’ video features the recently turned 17 year-old NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Driver Dylan Kwasniewski of Las Vegas, Nevada. Kwasniewski was selected in part because of the his success on the track as he moved through the ranks of Bandolero Bandits, U.S. Legends, ASA Speed Truck and late model circuits. In 2011 Kwasniewski became the youngest winner in the history of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, and was honored as the Series’ Sunoco Rookie of the Year Award.
