Dream ft Jay-Z – High Art


One of the most anticipated tracks off of The-Dream‘s long awaited IV Play album has finally hit the ‘net. The r&b crooner partners up with Jay-Z for his latest single “High Art,” and, whether you like it or not, The-Dream appears to have another hit on his hands. IV Play is in stores May 23 with guest appearances from Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Big Sean, among others.

Gucci Mane Announces Chief Keef As The Newest Member Of 1017 Bricksquad


The streets love S.O.S.A and have showed the same passion to Gucci Mane La Flare for nearly a decade. Gucci Mane, who had recently been in jail for nearly the last month stemming from parole violations, was released last Thursday and is already ready to pick up where he left off before his April 13th incarceration. After his fallout with Waka Flocka Flame, many us believed Gucci would just now focus on his solo career with help for Young Scooter; but he made the official announcement on twitter moments ago of the newest member of Bricksquad being none other than Chief Keef.

Singer Lauryn Hill Sentenced to 3 Months Behind Bars


Lauryn Hill has to pay almost $1 million in back taxes. The Associated Press reports Hill’s attorney claims she paid more than $970,000 to satisfy tax liabilities, but that didn’t stop a judge from also tacking on an additional three months house arrest. In a statement to the court, Hill said she meant to pay back the money but couldn’t because she left the music business to take care of her children.

Mountain Dew Drops Lil Wayne Due to Offensive Lyrics


PepsiCo Inc severed ties with rapper Lil Wayne on Friday over a graphic reference to slain U.S. civil rights figure Emmett Till in a song. Lil Wayne, 30, had been the face of the PepsiCo drink Mountain Dew’s “Deweezy” campaign, a play on the rapper’s “Weezy” nickname.
