One of the most highly anticipated games of the year doesn’t fail to disappoint as Grand Theft Auto V becomes the most successful entertainment launch of all time, after just one day. After raking in USD $800 million in the first 24 hours, GTA V is becoming the fastest selling title to date. It has already become more successful than any movie in history, however with a retail price much higher than a cinema ticket it does hold an advantage. Needless to say, it’s already a winner.
It’s probably fair to say that EA Sports pretty much monopolizes the sports video games circuit, except where it is questioned by a rival company in one sport. Surely, this drives the designers crazy, not unlike like a silver medal haunting a champion’s otherwise golden trophy closet. With all of this in mind, the company is set to unveil NBA Live 14, tapping the promising Cleveland Caveliers star guard Kyrie Irving for the cover. Enjoy a peek at the game above, and look for it to arrive in stores November 19.
