Aquarium Bed

Apple Confirms September 12 iPhone 5 Launch


Following rampant speculation and a number of unconfirmed rumors, Apple has officially announced that the iPhone 5 will be unveiled at a special event on September 12. Using the date which casts a “5″ shadow as a teaser of sorts, a keynote address is planned for 10 AM Pacific. Suspected features include a thinner, taller iPhone with 4-inch display – which abandons the 4:3 aspect ratio for one more like an HDTV. Rumors suggest Apple will start taking iPhone 5 preorders after the event wraps up – offering consumers the chance to lock in a release day delivery. While Apple is not confirming this, rumors point to a September 21 iPhone 5 release date.
