From the makers of the Custom Batpod comes the latest movie-inspired motorbike: the Tron Legacy Lightcycle ($35,000). While the movie doesn’t hit theaters until December, anyone who saw the original knows the lightcycle races will be the highlight of the film.. Unlike the Batpod, these are built to be street-legal, with custom 22-inch hubless wheels, custom Hoosier tires, electric or gasoline motors, two-inch hardened steel frames, carbon fiber/fiberglass bodies, and neon hidden behind frosted plexiglass for the accent colors.

Dennis Palatov’s DP4 Super Go-Kart recently visited Oregon Raceway Park for its first track day. Powered by a motorcycle engine and a unique chain drive system, the DP4 can be raced on kart tracks or full-sized courses. Two versions of the DP4 are available for purchase. A $25,910, two-wheel drive, build-it-yourself kit which includes a GSXR-1000 engine, or a pre-built, 800lb, all-wheel drive DP4 with a 1400cc 200HP turbocharged Hayabusa engine for $50,610.
