Land Rover ‘Transparent’ Hood

Jaguar Land Rover plans to show off a “Transparent Hood” concept vehicle at the International Auto Show in New York next week. The “Transparent Hood,” as Land Rover calls it, is created through the use of camera images projected onto a full width heads up display at the bottom of the windshield, which provides the driver visibility to what is underneath and directly in front of the car.

BMW M4 Convertible | 2015

BMW has debuted the upcoming 2015 M4 Convertible ahead of its worldwide premiere at the New York Auto Show. The convertible is powered by the same 3.0 liter, turbocharged inline six engine as its coupe counterpart but because of the additional weight from the folding metal roof and additional supports needed in the absence of a built-in roof.

PL-01 Concept Tank

Poland is working with partners to create the tank of the future. The concept is called the PL-01 and it looks like something that you would pilot around in a futuristic version of the video game Battlefield. As you might guess from the design of the tank, it is intended to have a very low infrared, radar, and visual signature. That means that the tank has lot of angles like a Stealth fighter to reduce its radar signature.

BMW CS Vintage Concept

The project by car designer David Obendorfer is a modern interpretation of the 1968 BMW E9 series designed by giovanni michelotti. it focuses on two models: michelotti’s E9 and its predecessor, the 1965 BMW 2000 CS (E120 series). the BMW CS vintage concept is based on the 6 series platform; the style, despite numerous citations from the past, is substantially contemporaneous with updated proportions and with modern details, many of which are influenced by nautical styling solutions.

2015 Bentley Continental GT Speed

Bentley is introducing an upgraded version of the Continental GT Speed in both coupe and convertible form. A 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine pumping out 626 horsepower, from 0-60 in 4 seconds and will hit a top speed of 206 mph.

Hennessey Venom GT | The Fastest Car in the World

The Hennessey Venom GT set a new world speed record for 2-seat sports cars by reaching a top speed of 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h). The test was performed at the Kennedy Space Center on the 3.2-mile Space Shuttle landing runway. Brian Smith, Director of Miller Motorsports Park, drove the Venom GT to its record speed.
