‘The Great Sandstorm’ – The first professional sumo wrestler from the Middle East


Ōsunaarashi (大砂嵐金太郎) is the first professional sumo wrestler from the African continent. Born Abdelrahman Shalan near Cairo, Egypt he first became involved with sumo through an acquaintance at the age of 16. In 2011 he came in third place at an international junior championship. The same year he decided to follow his dream of becoming a professional wrestler and moved to Tokyo, Japan.

Keyshawn Johnson Arrested


CALABASAS — Former NFL wide receiver and USC standout Keyshawn Johnson was arrested for misdemeanor spousal battery early Monday morning at his San Fernando Valley home. KNX 1070′s Margaret Carrero reports Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Johnson’s Calabasas residence around 12:48 a.m. regarding a possible spousal assault call.

Gregg Popovich’s Message To Craig Sager

In a stirring interview with Sager’s son between the third and fourth quarters of today’s Mavs-Spurs game, coach Gregg Popovich brought us to tears when he took a moment to address Sager and said: “I promise I’ll be nice. Get back here.”

Lamar Odom Signs with the Knicks and Agrees to a Divorce


The New York Knicks announced that they have signed forward Lamar Odom for the remainder of the season. So… for Wednesday. But the deal is a multi-year deal that is reportedly non-guaranteed for next season. It allows the Knicks to evaluate Odom’s condition and commitment over the summer and then decide if they want to keep him… He’s also agreed to sign the divorce papers with soon to be ex-wife Khloe Kardashian.
