Subway announced Friday they’re phasing out bread produced with a chemical commonly found in yoga mats. The disclosure comes as Subway has suffered from an onslaught of bad publicity since a food blogger petitioned the chain to remove the ingredient.

McDonald’s Loyal Fan Gets Receipt Tattooed On Arm


An 18-year-old from Norway now has a McDonald’s receipt tattooed on his right arm. Stian Ytterdahl of Lorenskog, said that his friends wanted to punish him for being “too active with the ladies,” according to Scallywag and Vagabond’s translation of Romereskes Blad.

Woman Finds Lizard Head Inside Salad


One kale salad — hold the lizard head, please. Robin Sandusky, 31, a theatrical coordinator with Rodgers and Hammerstein, said she found an unwanted extra in the salad she had delivered Tuesday afternoon from Guy & Gallard in Chelsea. As she speared her greens, she pulled out a lizard head, she said.

A judge in Irwindale, California has ordered popular hot sauce maker Huy Fong Foods that makes Sriracha to stop any operations that are releasing strong orders into the city. Residents of the town complain that the plant is causing their eyes to burn and giving them headaches.
